West Newbury, MA – New Residential Subdivision Development
This project involves the development of a new residential subdivision in the scenic town of West Newbury, MA, featuring 36 single-family homes and 3,000 feet of newly constructed roadway. The scope of work encompassed approximately 12,000 linear feet of erosion control, along with extensive clearing and grubbing to prepare the site for development.
In total, 15 acres of land were transformed, requiring the importation of 30,000 cubic yards of fill to create a solid foundation for the community. The infrastructure includes the installation of new utilities, such as water, drainage systems, and a large common septic system complete with pump stations. Notably, a new living wall retaining wall was also constructed, enhancing the site’s aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
Additionally, the project included off-site improvements, featuring 1,600 linear feet of new 12-inch water main to support the growing needs of the area.
