Phase 2 – Pathway Infrastructure Development | Devens Campus
Phase 2 of the Pathway project at the Devens Campus involved comprehensive site preparation and utility infrastructure to support future building pad development. The scope of work included:
- Implementation of erosion control measures across the project site.
- Site clearing of approximately 16.5 acres.
- Installation of temporary water bypass system.
- Site cut of roughly 47,800 cubic yards.
- Site fill of 70,000 cubic yards.
- Excavation, replacement, and compaction of 20,000 cubic yards of native material beneath the building footprint.
- Furnished and installed 10,280 square feet of Recon Shea retaining wall, with a maximum height of 20 feet.
Utility Installations included:
- 1,220 linear feet of new sanitary sewer main with 8 sewer manholes.
- 2100 linear feet of 8” to 12” water main with all associated valves, fittings, and hydrants.
- 3,200 linear feet of 12” to 24” storm drainage piping.
- 3 detention system with 72” perforated pipe.
Offsite electrical improvements along Givry Street included the installation of 4 new manholes and approximately 800 1,200 linear feet of off-duct banks, milling and overlaying, 2,705 linear feet of onsite duct banks with 6 electric/telecom manholes, and 24,060 square yards of paving.
